How it works, in four lines

Plant a sigil on a lit plot. Each sale lifts the price 0.3%; the part above 0.03 ETH halves every 6 hours.
45% of every later sigil is split evenly among the sigils standing. TAUFA trading fees fill a pool that pays them about 7.5% a day.
Rams crack sigils; posts stop rams. A cracked sigil stops earning and falls at the next bell unless repaired.
After the siege weekend, 90% of the war chest is paid to what still stands. Fallen sigils keep half a share.

The book’s “rotate one eighty if three” (ch. 4), applied to every 2 × 2 block; the blocks shift by one cell each generation. Every case can be undone, so the field can also run backward.
